At the intersection between technical object and luminous urban sign, Freeway pays tribute to the spectacle of urban life and its mosaic of of signage.
A nod to flashing lights, the reflective surface made of perforated aluminum wraps around a cylinder of light. While rotating, it subtly and momentarily obscures the latter in regular punctuation.
In this game of appearance / concealment, the gyratory movement is voluntary slowed down and becomes almost invisible to offset the feeling of emergency and set up its graphic and contemplative presence.
